Suit Up Bakers: Your Spiderman Cookie Mission Starts Now

    What to do

    Create a crime-fighting web

    • Start by kneading your fondant until smooth, pliable and ready to swing into action.
    • Roll out the baby pink and red fondant to an even thickness and firmly press in your cutter to create the face shape. Peel away the excess fondant.
    • Place the stencil on top of the fondant and roll over using your rolling pin to ensure the stencil is locked in place. Don't skip this step - this will ensure your lustred web comes out with super clean lines!
    • Using a flat brush, apply a thin layer of Bakers Binder onto your stencil and fondant.
    • Load up your lustre brush and dab onto the fondant, be generous with the lustre!
    • Dust off the excess lustre and peel the stencil away from the fondant - the Binder locks the lustre in place making it smudge-free!
    • Use your cutter to trim the excess fondant so it fits perfectly on your cookie.
    • Apply a thin layer of Bakers Bond to your cookie and carefully transfer your fondant on top.

    Bring Spidey to Life

    • To create the eyes, use the base of a piping tip to cut out small circles from your prepared white fondant.
    • Then use a round cutter or an art knife to slice each circle into a half moon shape.
    • Stick the eyes in place with a little help from Bakers Bond
    • Paint the outer edges of the eyes with Black Paint Blend to really bring Spidey to life!
