For the best results, Gloss Frost should ideally be the consistency of soft serve ice-cream. However, as a temperature-sensitive product, it can change in texture in different environments and climates.

But never fear! Gloss Frost will always bounce back and it's super easy to unlock the soft, high-gloss frosting!

For the best results, Gloss Frost should be similar to the consistency of soft-serve ice cream.

If your Gloss Frost is too firm:

Simply pop your Gloss Frost bucket into the microwave (with the lid off) for 30 seconds. Give it a good stir after microwaving. If it's still too firm, pop it in the microwave for another 15 seconds, continuing this process until it's your desired consistency.

If your Gloss Frost is too soft:

Pop it in the fridge for up to 5 mins. Give it a good stir when you take it out. If it's been in the fridge too long and it's too firm, follow the steps above to get it back to its silky soft finish.

If your Gloss Frost has crystallised:

If your Gloss Frost has small crystals in it, don't stress, this is the perfectly natural result of experience rapid changes in temperature (e.g. going from our cool-room to a hot delivery truck!). Simply pop the bucket in the microwave for 30 seconds (with the lid off), giving it a good stir once removed and repeating this process until the crystals have disappeared.
